Tempestus Scions (Astra Militarum) The Scions of the Militarum Tempestus are often viewed with suspicion and hostility by regular forces. Common nicknames include 'Glory Boys' and 'Big Toy Soldiers'. But this ill will means nothing to the Scions themselves. Trained in covert operations and hit-and-run tactics, they go into battle confident that their every action is for the good of the Imperium. Immortals (Necrons) Even before their transformation, the Immortals were the elite soldiers of the Necrontyr, spearheading their galactic conquests. Infused with tireless metal bodies, they are now the shock troops of every Tomb Worlds army. Where Necron Warriors are little more than fodder for the enemy's guns, Immortals are far more valuable to their Overlords and will only be deployed for important tasks. Heavily armed and armoured, they will stop at nothing to achieve their masters' goals. They are often the spearhead of any decisive offensive or crushing counter-attack. A deafening hail of energy bolts and bullets flashes through the air, long-range splashes of blood and flashes of explosions fill the battlefield until the Pontorez trample the remaining enemies. Land Raider (Space Marines) The ground trembles and the enemy flees in fear as the mighty Land Raider advances across the battlefield. Heavy, unstoppable, the noble war machine smashes through a wall and crushes the remains beneath its tracks as the debris from the explosion drums against its armour. Beams of white-hot energy slam into enemy tanks, piercing their armoured hulls and turning them into blazing fireballs. Bolts thud into the flesh of the enemy before exploding, spraying clouds of blood from the victim. The death toll mounts with each passing moment as the Land Raider moves through the war zone, reaching its climax when its assault ramp falls and its Adeptus Astartes passengers join the carnage. Neophyte Hybrids (Neutrals) Each cultist is agile and strong, having spent their entire lives in toil. Their physical strength and reflexes are enhanced by the alien genes lurking within them.
